    Well perceived Cheezilla,

    In deep yogic meditation, your Consciousness = Soul unites with God and forgets or withdraws from the physical / body : )

    In deep Samadhi, you do not breathe and have to remember to re-start breathing when your (Soul / Consciousness) returns to your body.

    Yoga in Sanskrit means Union or Communion with God.
